BEFORE YOU APPLY

• To qualify for a role with our client, the Australian Government Department of Defence, candidates must have or qualify for a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) Security clearance (Para Bellum Solutions can facilitate and sponsor clearances up to the NV1 level).

CITIZENS OF AUSTRALIA, UNITED KINGDOM, USA, CANADA AND NEW ZEALAND

1. Australian citizens living abroad who wish to return to Australia. Australian citizens will not need to hold a current security clearance, we can facilitate this for the right candidates. 

2. Australian citizens living in Australia who want to work in the Defence and Space sector. You will not need to have a current security clearance as we can facilitate this for the right candidates.

3. Citizens of the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada and New Zealand who hold a current security clearance from their respective nation of citizenship. We will facilitate recognition of your current clearance for employment in the Australian Defence Industry.

4. You meet the above criteria and have relevant experience in one or more of the sectors listed on the 'Jobs' page.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

Please note that it is part of the recruitment process that candidates if employed by Para Bellum Solutions, must have or gain the appropriate Security Clearance level required to undertake the position. To obtain a federal government security clearance, a process needs to be sponsored by either a federal government Hiring Manager or a private company that is a listed member of the Defence Industry Security Panel (DISP). Once a sponsoring party has initiated the process, the Australian Government Security Vetting (AGSVA) issues the new employee a security pack in accordance with the level of security clearance being applied for.
